Convert HEIC to JPG
Turn iPhone HEIC photos into universal JPGs. Free, and your photos never leave your device.
Your photos are converted on your device and never uploaded.
This converter needs a modern browser feature (OffscreenCanvas) that isn’t available here. Try the latest Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari.
Why your photos stay on your device
Most “HEIC to JPG” sites upload your photos to a server to convert them. QuietFiles doesn’t. The conversion runs entirely in your browser using a WebAssembly decoder, so your photos — which are personal — are never sent anywhere, never stored, and never seen by us. You can turn off your Wi-Fi after the page loads and it still works.
How it works
- 1 Add your photos. Drop your HEIC files onto the box above, or tap it to pick photos from your device.
- 2 Convert instantly. Each photo is decoded and re-encoded to JPG right in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
- 3 Download. Save each JPG, or download them all as a single zip.
Questions
- What is a HEIC file?
- HEIC is the high-efficiency image format iPhones use by default. It saves space, but many apps and websites can’t open it — so converting to JPG makes photos work everywhere.
- Are my photos uploaded?
- No. Everything happens in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. No account, no limits, no watermark.
